Harbour and shore
The burn and the shore
The burn runs through town to the sea. Litter can travel that way too.

What happens here
A burn is a Scottish word for a stream. Gullbrae’s burn runs down through the town and out to the sea.
When it rains, litter dropped in the street can wash into the burn and travel all the way to the shore. A bin stops it before it starts.
