Buddy found a planter with a loose joint.

Rowan thought it might still have a job to do.

Stan checked it in his workshop and explained the repair.
Stan: “Let’s see what’s still useful.”

Arthur found it a good place in the garden.

The planter came back, with Rowan’s drawing beside it.

Buddy cheered: another useful season, not another bin load.
Buddy: “Before we choose a bin, could we use it again?”

The real-life bit
Before throwing something away, ask whether it could be mended or used again. Repairs are a job for a grown-up. Gullbrae is made up. Your council’s own rules are the ones to follow.
