Council gardens · lifeboat volunteer
Arthur
Arthur looks after the town’s public gardens in the week, and keeps an ordinary back garden with hens at home. He is busy, capable and deeply attached to his town.
“Look after the garden, look after the shore, and ask the right person when help is needed.”
What he’s known for
Putting the kettle on just as another part of his busy life needs him. He volunteers with the lifeboat, always as part of a crew.
His tip for home
Hens need proper hen food. Kitchen scraps go in the food caddy, not the hen run.
