The castle B&B · Gullbrae

Cecily

Cecily and her husband Hugo are new neighbours in Gullbrae, turning a tired old castle into a warm B&B while keeping its character. She organises the welcome, and she gives the village credit for its help.

What she’s known for

Finding a thoughtful, useful place for something other people have overlooked. Her grand room descriptions get warmer and simpler once the village joins in.

Her tip for home

Something looks old and tired? Before it goes, think about whether it could do a new job in another room.
